Rachael Olaboade – Ondo State maiden in FONDCUP 2022 is a 21 years old maiden who is quiet and calm and thinks of herself as a good person.
She walks and poses in a very natural way and is 100% ready for the challenges ahead no matter how tough they may become. If crowned queen, she would visit orphanages and secondary schools to carry out the works of kindness.

Tell us briefly about yourself and family?
My name is Olaboade Racheal,I hail from Ore town, Odigbo local government, Ondo state. A place I have come to love since living there all my life. I’m 21 years of age, I’m a student of business administration and management, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo state. I hope to become a Business mogul one day.
I’m the last child in the family of five,I consider my family as not just blood relatives but as best friends and guardians,I admire my mother for her contented nature which she taught all her children to be and all although my father is late,I still hold the few memories I have of him so dearly.
As a child,I was considered as the active one,curious,willing to learn and generally excited about life.I believe life is per second and what should be done should be done now.I’m driven by my desire to make it greatly in life,my motto for life is “If you can do it,you can do it”. I have three sisters and a brother,we all share a very strong bond that can’t be broken,even when two of us are out of the country,we still manage to communicate everyday.
Who is your role model?
My role models are Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, a business mogul and currently the richest female in Nigeria. My other role model is Agbani Darego of the modelling industry, an award winning model and one time Miss World.
What is your Ideal Niger Delta?
Niger Delta is an ideal location to bring more projects on solar energy,youth inclusion,agriculture,and peace programming to scale.
What regrets do you have so far as a young lady and a Pageant model?
I don’t believe I have any regrets as a young lady who is aspiring to be a beauty pageant because roads to success are usually rough at the beginning.
How was your FONDCUP 2022 camp?
It was full of great fun and excitement as it gives me the opportunity of meeting beauty pageants from other Niger-Delta regions.I achieved exposure and network from different
How would you describe your roommates?Mention their names and the state they represent?
My roommates are Freeborn Osasumwen Miracle and Esinulo Shalom.Freeborn Osasumwen represents Edo state,while Esinulo Shalom represents Imo state.They have been quite kind,open minded and have been of very great support to my beauty pageantry.
What have you learned from co-existing with your fellow maidens?
It enables me to know more about their cultures and traditions,and moreover know their social values.
Why would you want to become the next fondcup queen?
To promote the Niger-Delta face on the beautiful pageants in Nigeria.
What is your possible solution to the constant crisis in the Niger-Delta?
My possible solution to the constant problems in the Niger-Delta is using beauty contests to bring together and preach peace and love amongst the various ethnic groups that make up the Niger-Delta.
Which rule or law in your culture or tradition would you want to change if given the opportunity?
In the Town of Odigbo where I come from, there’s an annual festival called Odumoko. During the festival, the Deity is being worshipped and women are forbidden to go out while this festival lasts. If given the opportunity, I would like to put an end to the prohibition of the free movements of women during the festival.
When you become FONDCUP 2022 queen,what would you want the Niger-Delta people to recognize you with?
When I become the FONDCUP 2022 queen, I want to be recognized as a representative of Ondo state and Niger-Delta as a whole stating clearly to other females of my ethnicity and the Niger-Delta that if someone of my Caliber can represent, they also can.
What is your greatest life challenge and regret?
My greatest life regret and challenge is growing up with a single mother having lost my Dad at a very young and tender age.
